On behalf of the Lima Team, we would like to wish all of our readers a very Happy Thanksgiving!! As a team, because of our many blessings, we are finding it very easy to be thankful. We are thankful for our team and the great times we are experiencing during this season of training. We are thankful for our (growing) families, where love is unconditional . We are thankful for our great friends. We are thankful for the A&M Church of Christ for supporting us during this time. We are thankful for our future partnering congregations (Update: JM & Tara have been offered support from the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ in Paris, TX!!!). We are thankful for the great game of handball. We are thankful for good food. We are thankful for the cool weather. We are thankful for good health. Most of all, we are thankful for Jesus and the grace and mercy that we receive through him. James 1:17 reminds us that, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights…” Let us never forget the source of our blessings, and let us always give thanks and praise to the author and perfector of all that is good.
